This new print Dartmoor Oak made it through the selection for the annual summer show at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen in Bovey Tracey, Devon. It’s always a great show and starts on July 20th with a private view the evening before.
This photo collage shows the print and the plate I printed it from at various stages. The last image on the bottom is the plate after printing. I love the way the background darkens and the tree stands out the more the plate is inked and cleaned. I’m often asked if I sell my plates, but I’m attached to them so always say ‘no’!
