I’m always drawn to fields with plough marks or other patterns, especially when they’re on a slope with bare trees at the top. Making the furrow marks for this print was fun as I could let rip with the cutting tool – something I don’t usually do!

Hi Richard. I love this, as I do all your other prints. Do you ever do any in a landscape configuration?

Thanks Liz. Many of my other handmade prints are landscape, but the field ones are generally portrait, as it’s the field patterns on a slope that interest me. This one is a rare reproduction of a handmade print. I will be having others made, but only of editions which have sold out, so older prints.
