Six Oaks

This unframed print is printed on 250gsm Somerset Satin printmaking paper with Caligo Safewash inks.

The edition of 40 of these prints is sold out, but this is one of several artist’s proofs, marked A/P, rather than 2/40, for example.

This row of oaks lines the road between Dartington Hall and Totnes in Devon. I liked their interesting shapes, constrained by each other and the road into unusually tall and dense trees. I couldn’t resist including the little fence.
